# May 22, 2026 — Analytics in MCP

> Ask analytical questions about threat models, security requirements, and workspaces directly from your IDE with the new Oplane MCP analyze tool.

### Ask Oplane analytical questions from your IDE

A new `analyze` tool is available in the [Oplane MCP server](/docs/mcp-agent). Your AI assistant can now answer aggregation questions across your threat models, security requirements, and workspaces — without paging through long lists.

Ask things like:

* "What percentage of threat models have open requirements this month?"
* "Show me the severity breakdown of open requirements."
* "Average time to resolve critical requirements."
* "Top 10 workspaces by new findings in the last 30 days."
* "Open requirements week over week."

Results come back as counts, percentages, distributions over time, or rankings, with optional grouping by severity, implementation state, workspace, threat model type, and more.

No setup required — if you already use Oplane via MCP, the tool is available now. Just ask your assistant in natural language.
